A Legend Returns to
Coleman Avenue
In 1999, Chef Rickey opened his doors on Coleman Avenue in Waveland, Mississippi — serving up Gulf Coast seafood and Cajun classics that became the heartbeat of the community. Locals and visitors alike fell in love with the bold flavors, generous portions, and the warmth that only a family kitchen can offer.
Then Hurricane Katrina hit in 2005, and like so much of the Gulf Coast, Rickey's was swept away. But legends don't stay down. After 20 years, Chef Rickey has returned to his roots — rebuilding, reimagining, and reopening the restaurant the coast never forgot.
Today, with Chef Rickey commanding the kitchen and Lacy leading the front of house, Rickey's on Coleman is once again a destination — where every dish tells a story and every guest feels like family.
